IN THE MATTER OF THE COMPANIES ACT 1955, AND IN THE MATTER OF PENNANTS MERCERS MONOGRAMS (1973) LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at the offices of Messrs Hogg Young Cathie & Co., 217 Gloucester Street, Christchurch, and carrying on business there as mercers:

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court at Christchurch was on the 23rd day of September 1977 presented to the said Court by BENSON BLENKARN LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland and carrying on business there and elsewhere as clothiers; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch on Wednesday, the 26th day of October 1977, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment at the regulated charge for the same.

WELLINGTON REGIONAL WATER BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of THE WELLINGTON REGIONAL WATER BOARD ACT 1972:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Regional Water Board, a board duly constituted under the provisions of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, and being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and under the provisions of all other Acts and by all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a public work, namely, river control, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for soil conservation and river control purposes; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and there numbered Survey Office Plan No. 26949, is exhibited at the offices of the Board, M.E.D. Building, 40–44 Cuba Street, Wellington, and it is there available for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours. All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands and who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or any of them should state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days after the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, care of Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington; and notice is hereby further given that if any objection is received as aforesaid and unless the objector otherwise requires, a public hearing of any such objection will be held and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

All those pieces of land situate in the Hutt County having frontage to Old Military Road (part being separated therefrom by the Hutt River) comprising part of the banks of the Hutt River and being described as follows:

(a) 1 rood 5 perches 24 perches respectively, being parts of Section (23, Hutt District, and being land comprised in deeds index, Volume 3, folio 130 (Wellington Registry) being shown coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.

(b) 2 acres and 1 rood, being part Section 124, Hutt District, and being land comprised in deeds index, Volume 3, folio 131 (Wellington Registry) and being shown coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.

(c) 1 rood and 13 perches, being part Section 124, Hutt District, and being land comprised in deeds index, Volume 3, folio 131 (Wellington Registry) and being shown coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.

(d) 4 acres 2 roods 10 perches, being part Section 176, Hutt District, and being land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 352, folio 112 (Wellington Registry) limited as to parcels, and being land coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.

(e) 17 perches, being part Section 221, Hutt District, and being land comprised in deeds index, Volume 13, folio 743 (Wellington Registry), and being land coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.

(f) 8 perches, being part Lot 2, D.P. 3691, being part Section 221, Hutt District, and being land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 578, folio 45 (Wellington Registry) and being land coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.

All the foregoing lands being situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District.
