Plants Declared Noxious Seeds under the Noxious Weeds
Act 1950 in the Borough of Cambridge (Notice No. 1803
Ag. 12/10/4/1)

PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture,
under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953,
for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following
Special Order, made by the Cambridge Borough Council on
the 31st day of August 1977 is hereby published:

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950,
and the First Schedule thereof, the Cambridge Borough
Council hereby declares the following weeds to be noxious
weeds in the Borough of Cambridge.

SCHEDULE

Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus).
Californian thistle, Canadian thistle, or creeping thistle
(Cirsium arvense).
Common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
Gorse (Ulex, any species).
Hemlock (Conium maculatum).
Japanese wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius).
Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense).
Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans).
Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
Scotch thistle or Plume thistle (Cirsium lanceolatum).
Sweet briar (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).
Wild tulip (Brassica campestris).
Winged thistle (Carduus tenuiflorus and Carduus pycnocephalus).
Woolly nightshade (Solanum auriculatum).

Revocation

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned New Zealand
Standard Specification has been recommended for revocation
pursuant to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965.

Any person who may be affected by the proposal to revoke
this standard specification, and who wishes to object to its
revocation, is invited to submit comments to the Standards
Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington, not
later than 20 October 1977.
