Assigning the Foreshore Licence for a Site for a Barge
Landing at Lake Taupo

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, I, Owen John Conway, of
the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated
by the Minister of Transport hereby give notice that the
licence granted to Donald Arthur McLeod on 2nd day of
May 1968* to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed
of the Waikato River at the entrance to Lake Taupo
is hereby assigned to Lake Taupo Marina Ltd.

Licensing Clifton Joseph Knight to Occupy a Site for a
Slipway-Ramp in the Awanui River

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen
John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of
powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license
and permit Clifton Joseph Knight (hereinafter called the
licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors
or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction)
to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the
Awanui River as shown on plan marked M.D. (N) 308 and
deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auck-
land, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a slipway-ramp
as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and
enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and
conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations
    1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as
    applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
    day of September 1977.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be forty
    dollars ($40) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee
    shall be one hundred and fifty ($150); provided always that
    the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end
    of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing Eastern Marina Services Limited, to use and occupy
a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Tamaki River at
Panmure as a Site for a Wharf and Sheds, Boat Ramp,
Pontoons and Floating Walkway, Slipway, Two Fuel Pumps
and Combined Ship Chandlery, Workshop and Office.

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen
John Conway of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of
powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby licence
and permit Eastern Marina Services Limited (hereinafter
called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or
assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to
use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the
Tamaki River at Panmure as shown on plan marked M.D.
(N) 338, which incorporates plans M.D. 11193, M.D.
11702, M.D. 12375, and M.D. 8263, and deposited in the
office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the
purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf and sheds, boat
ramp, pontoons and floating walkway, slipway, two fuel pumps
and combined ship chandlery, workshop and office, as shown
on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the
licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set
forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

  2. The term of the licence shall be 5 years from the 1st
    day of February 1977.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be fifteen
    dollars ($15) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee
    shall be seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750); provided
    always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable
    at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the
    said term.

  4. The buildings are to be used only as a ship’s chandlery
    and for the repair and storage of boats.

  5. No foodstuffs or refreshments are to be sold from the
    buildings.

  6. No merchandise or cargo or materials are to be loaded
    or unloaded from the wharf except in connection with the
    ship chandlery store.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
undersigned Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, acting under
powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the
