Flying Officer D. M. Frowen, B.A., to be Flight Lieutenant,
with seniority from 19 May 1976 and effect from 1 August

Flying Officer J. C. Sewell, B.A., to be Flight Lieutenant
with seniority from 17 July 1976 and effect from 1 August

Transfer to Reserve

Supply Division

Flight Lieutenant Thomas Norman Queenin is transferred
to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 27 October 1978,
with effect from 28 October 1976.

EDUCATION BRANCH

Promotion

Flight Lieutenant B. G. Clark, B.SC., to be Squadron Leader,
with seniority and effect from 1 August 1976.

CHAPLAINS' BRANCH

Extension of Commission

The short-service commission of Chaplain 3rd Class J. E.
Scutter is extended to 17 February 1981, to be followed
by four years on the Reserve of Air Force Officers.

TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH

Appointment

Special Duties Division

Flight Lieutenant Ronald Walter Campbell is transferred
from the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period of four
years in his present rank and seniority, with effect from 11
November 1976.

Promotions

The following Flight Lieutenants to be Squadron Leader
with seniority and effect from 26 March 1976:
D. F. Sykes, A.F.C., D.F.M.
D. C. Boroughs.
A. R. Walker, D.F.C.
G. R. Springer.

Extension of Commission

The commission of Squadron Leader D. F. Sykes, A.F.C.,
D.F.M., is extended to 18 November 1980.
The commission of Flight Lieutenant M. A. Browne is
extended to 24 September 1982.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Appointment

Bruce Robert Noel Golden, M.B., CH.B., is appointed to a
short-service commission for a period of seven years in the
rank of Squadron Leader, with seniority from 11 June 1970
and effect from 11 June 1975.

Transfer

Flight Lieutenant R. W. Campbell is transferred to the
Territorial Air Force, with effect from 11 November 1976.

Retirements

The following officers are retired with effect from the dates

PURSUANT to section 61 (2) of the Broadcasting Act 1973,
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
appoint

Bruce Houlton Slane, of Auckland
to be the Chairman of the Broadcasting Tribunal of New
Zealand, for a term of 3 years commencing on the 1st day
of February 1977; and

Janet Somerville, of Dunedin
to be a member of that tribunal, for a term of 2 years
commencing on the 1st day of February 1977; and

Lionel Ralph Sceats, of Wellington
to be a member of that tribunal, for a term of 1 year
commencing on the 1st day of February 1977.

Zealand

PURSUANT to section 4 (2) of the Broadcasting Act 1976, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Ronald Alexander Jarden, J.P., of Wellington
to be the Chairman of the Broadcasting Corporation of New
Zealand, for a term of 1 year commencing on the 1st day of
February 1977; and

Charles James Freeman, of Auckland
to be the deputy chairman of that corporation, for a term
of 2 years commencing on the 1st day of February 1977; and

Patrick James Downey, of Wellington
to be a member of that corporation, for a term of 3 years
commencing on the 1st day of February 1977; and

Richard Gray Collins, of Wellington
to be a member of that corporation, for a term of 1 year
