AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the fee simple estate in the land, described in the Schedule hereto, for a certain public work, namely, housing purposes. The general purpose for which the land to be taken is to be used is housing purposes. A plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the City Valuer, Fourth Floor, Administration Building, Civic Centre, Auckland, and is there open for inspection. Every person directly affected is called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, 175 The Terrace, Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with paragraph d, subsection 1, section 6, Public Works Amendment Act 1973, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
