Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Whakatane District Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the District of Whakatane, in trust, for that purpose.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that Land be Part of Punakaiki Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the Punakaiki Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Punakaiki Scenic Board.

Appointment of the South East Otago Scenic Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the South East Otago Scenic Board to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for a Government purpose (site for a scenic board headquarters).

Amendment to a Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Forests Act 1949, the notice, issued on the 25th day of June 1976 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 1st day of July 1976, page 1650, is hereby amended by deleting the word “Waipu” in the heading of the description and substituting the name “Waiapu”, and this amendment shall take effect as from the date of issue of that notice.
