Appointment of the Nelson City Council to Control and
Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints the Nelson City Council to control
and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto,
subject to the provisions of the said Act as a reserve for
recreation purposes.

Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Cambridge Borough Council on the 30th day
of June 1976:

That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 13
of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Cambridge
Borough Council hereby resolves that those pieces of land
held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said
borough in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto,
shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public
reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the
said Act.

Revocation of a Declaration that Private Land be a Private
Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby revokes the notice published in New Zealand
Gazette, No. 80, 22 December 1954, page 2075, declaring the
private land, described in the Schedule hereto, to be a private
scenic reserve under and subject to the provisions of Part IV
of the said Act.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—STEWART ISLAND COUNTY
ALL that area containing by estimation 1214 square metres,
more or less, being part of Section 2, Block I, Paterson
Survey District, and bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of
the said Section 2, distant approximately 274.32 metres from
the northernmost corner of the said Section 2; thence south-
westerly by a right line on a bearing of 210° for a distance
of 40.23 metres; thence south-easterly by a right line on a

bearing of 120° for a distance of 30.17 metres; thence north-
easterly by a right line on a bearing of 30° for a distance of
40.23 metres to the north-eastern boundary of the said Section
2; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary
of the said Section 2 for a distance of 30.17 metres to the

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the
Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of Sale shall be
Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for
public purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto,
and further declares that the said land may be disposed of
by the Paparua County Council at current market value,
the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s
reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in
or towards the improvement of other public reserves under
the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase
of other land for public reserves.

of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Council-
lors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waimate and revokes
the reservation as a reserve for a gravel pit over the land
described in the Schedule hereto.
