Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs

Pursuant to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

The Motor Launch (Lake Camp) Notice 1976-Ashburton County Council

Pursuant to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give the following notice:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake Camp) Notice 1976.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

  2. Subject to the conditions, set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962* shall not apply with respect to the waters of Lake Camp excepting thereout those areas described in the First Schedule hereto, as also shown on plan M.D. 15711.

  3. Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Lake Camp) Notice 1975-Ashburton County Council+ is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

  1. All that area of water at the northern side of Lake Camp, situated in Block VI, Tripp Survey District, bounded to the west by a line commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 152° distant 72 metres from the southern side of the cattle stop on the Gorge Road thence out into the lake on a bearing of 108° distant 50 metres; thence generally easterly and southerly 50 metres from the water's edge of the north shore of the lake to the eastern boundary, being a line commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 321° distant 28 metres from the western corner of the Clearwater Aquatic Club House; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 289° distant 50 metres.

  2. All that area of water at the southern side of Lake Camp, situated in Block VI, Tripp Survey District, bounded to the east by a line commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the southern edge of the lake bearing 250° distant 360 metres from the southern side of the Clearwater Aquatic Club House; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 008° distant 50 metres; thence generally westerly 50 metres from the water's edge of the south shore of the lake to the western boundary, being a line commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 132° distant 75 metres from a fence post at the north-east corner of a plantation; thence out into the lake on a bearing 024° distant 50 metres.

  3. All that area of water at the south-western corner of Lake Camp, situated in Block VI, Tripp Survey District, bounded to the east by a line commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 282° distant 80 metres from a fence post at the north-west corner of a plantation; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 019° distant 50 metres; thence generally westerly and northerly 50 metres from the water's edge of the shore in the south-west corner of the lake to the northern boundary being a line commencing at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 183° distant 27 metres from the stile in a fence at the southern end of a plantation; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 110° distant 50 metres.

SECOND SCHEDULE

The access lanes shall be marked as follows:

  1. Two 2.5 metre transit posts with a distance of not less than 3 metres, or more than 6 metres between, and painted with 300 millimetres bright orange and black bands, shall be erected on land in line with each side of each access lane, the first post being sited on the lake shore at normal lake level.

  2. On each side of the transit posts, sited on the lake shore at normal lake level, there shall be fastened in line with the sides of each access lane a notice board, measuring not less than 800 millimetres x 600 millimetres, painted bright orange with black lettering, in the following form:

NOTICE

MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962

Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 8 kilometres per hour between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

BATHERS KEEP OUT

  1. A set of two marker buoys, either barrel, drum, or spherical-shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be moored 25 metres apart in line with each set of transit posts, the first buoy being moored 25 metres from the lake shore at normal lake level.

Licensing Lloyd Knight McIver and Jack Braddyll Stretton to Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Tamaki River as a Site for a Boat-Cleaning Grid

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby license and permit Lloyd Knight McIver and Jack Braddyll Stretton, acting as trustees for the Tamaki Bay Boat Owners Association (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Tamaki River as shown on plan marked M.D. (N) 176 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat-cleaning grid as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of August 1976.

(3) The premium payable by the licensees shall be forty dollars ($40) and the annual sum so payable by the licensees shall be forty dollars ($40), provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
