(b) To lay and construct a stormwater drain or drains
of such dimensions as the authority shall determine
and, from time to time, alter or reconstruct the
same, and to clean or otherwise maintain the same
in a state of efficiency, subject to the condition that
as little disturbance as possible is caused to the
surface of the land of the grantor, and that the
surface is restored as nearly as possible to its original
condition and any other damage done by reason
of the aforesaid alterations is repaired.
(c) To delegate to the local council, as defined by the
Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, the rights and
powers under this easement.
(d) Such rights and privileges to be in common with the
registered proprietor for the time being of the lands,
described in the Second Schedule hereto, and in
common with the registered proprietor for the time
being of the land comprised in certificate of title,
Volume 8B, folio 709, Wellington Registry, being
part Hautu 3F4B1 or any part thereof, and their
respective servants, agents, workmen, visitors, and all
persons having business with them or any of them.
3. On the land in the Second Schedule or part thereof being
dedicated as a public road the rights hereby created over
that portion of the land in the Second Schedule as shall
be so dedicated shall be cancelled.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Puketi Survey
District, described as follows:

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis
Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
declare the land, described in the Schedule hereto, to be
Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis
Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby;
(a) proclaim and declare that the land, described in the
Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for soil conservation and
river control purposes and shall vest in the Hawke's Bay
Catchment Board, as from the 12th day of August 1976; and
(b) further declares the land, described in the said Schedule,
to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 1030 square metres, situated
in Block II, Clive Survey District, and being part Lot 1,
D.P. 7001, as shown on plan S.O. 6802, lodged in the office
of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, and thereon marked “A”.

General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

Amending a Proclamation Declaring Land Acquired for a

Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation dated the 27th day
of November 1975, and published in Gazette, No. 114, 18
December 1975, at page 2995, declaring land, acquired for a
local work and not required for that purpose, to be Crown
land, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, by omitting
the Schedule and substituting the following Schedule.

All those pieces of land described as follows:
