Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1487 Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:
(i) An area of 19 acres 1 rood 6 perches or thereabouts, situated north-east of and adjoining (a) above in the City of Christchurch being Lot 27 D.P. 17857 Pt. Rural Sect. 1048, C.T. 7D/623 (Canterbury Registry).

(ii) An area of 7 acres 3 roods 20 perches or thereabouts, situated north-east of and adjoining (ii) above in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District, being Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office in Christchurch as No. 8381 part Rural Section 1048 (Canterbury Registry).

These two areas were previously declared as (b) (i) and (ii) in Notice No. 1023.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1486 Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulations 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:
(i) An area of 5 acres and 37 perches or thereabouts, situated north of and adjoining Mairehau Road, Christchurch, in Block VIII of the Christchurch Survey District, being part of Rural Section 1778, C.T. 626/171 (Canterbury Registry).

This area was previously declared as (b) (i) in Notice No 1056.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:
(i) An area of 18 acres 2 roods 31.9 perches or thereabouts, situated south of and with access to Marshland Road, Christchurch, in Block III of the Christchurch Survey District, being part Lot 4 on Deposited Plan No. 4068 part Rural Section 5063, C.T. 3C/1046 (Canterbury Registry).

(ii) An area of 23 acres and 10 perches or thereabouts, situated east of and adjoining Marshland Road, Christchurch, in Blocks VII and IV of the Christchurch Survey District, comprising part of Rural Sections 2143 and 5063, and being Lot 21 on plan deposited in the Lands Registry Office as No. 2773, C.T. 285/57 (Canterbury Registry).

These two areas were previously declared as (b) (ii) and (iii) in Notice No. 1087.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:
(i) An area of 16 acres and 10 perches or thereabouts, situated south-east of and with access to Grassmere Street, Christchurch, in Blocks VII and XI of the Christchurch Survey District, being Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 6313 of Rural Section 1048, C.T. 474/12 (Canterbury Registry).

(ii) An area of 6 acres and 3 roods or thereabouts, situated south-west of and adjoining Grassmere Street, Christchurch, in Blocks VII and XI of the Christchurch Survey District, being Lot 1 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 7797, part of Rural Section 307, C.T. 377/273 (Canterbury Registry).

These two areas were previously declared as (b) (i) and (ii) in Notice No. 1094.

(i) An area of 19 acres 2 roods 29 perches or thereabouts, situated east of and adjoining Marshlands Road, Christchurch, in Blocks VII and VIII of the Christchurch Survey District, being part of Rural Section 1604 and being more particularly described in conveyance Registered No. 120877 (194/101), C.T. 396/167 (Canterbury Registry).

This area was previously declared as (b) (i) in Notice No. 1175.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand

PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that as from and including 1 August 1976, and until further notice, each trading bank shall maintain on average during each calendar month balances at the Reserve Bank plus holdings of Reserve Bank notes and of New Zealand Government securities together equal to an amount which shall not be less than the aggregate of:

41 percent of that bank’s average demand deposit liabilities in New Zealand in the immediately preceding calendar month as shown by an average of the weekly returns of Banking Statistics under the Statistics Act 1955, plus

15 percent of that bank’s average time deposit liabilities in New Zealand in the immediately preceding calendar month as shown by an average of the weekly returns of Banking Statistics under the Statistics Act 1955.

For the purposes of this notice:

(1) The monthly average of a trading bank’s holdings of Reserve Bank notes shall be the average of the figures as shown by the weekly returns of Banking Statistics under the Statistics Act 1955 for that bank received in the calendar month to which the requirement applies.
