Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.

N O T I C E

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice, Whangarei, 1976, No. 27.

  2. The notice, referred to in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

  3. The land, described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice, Rotorua, 1976, No. 10.

  2. The land, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Moutoa Farm Settlement Land Development Proposal

THE Commission for the Environment gives notice that it has received an environmental impact report on the proposal to develop farm land between Foxton and Shannon.

Representations in writing on the environmental aspects of the project, as it is explained in the report, will be received at the office of the Commission, P.O. Box 12042, Wellington North, until 3 September 1976.

Copies of the report may be purchased from Department of Lands and Survey, Head Office, Private Bag, Wellington, at a cost of $2.50 each. Copies may be seen at the public libraries at Foxton, Palmerston North, Shannon, Levin, and Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin or at the libraries of the seven university institutions.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1490 Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:

(i) An area of 7 acres and 1 perch or thereabouts, situated north of an adjoining McSaveney’s Road, Christchurch, in Block VII of the Christchurch Survey District, being Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Land Registry office at Christchurch as No. 5944, part of Rural Section 6440, C.T. 336/7 (Canterbury Registry).

This area was previously declared as (b) (i) in Notice No. 1037.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1489 Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:

(i) An area of 10 acres 3 roods 7 perches or thereabouts, situated north-east of and adjoining Belfast Road, Christchurch, in Block VII of the Christchurch Survey District, being Lot 1 on plan deposited in the Lands Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 7117, part of Rural Sections 1020 and 11528, C.T. 359/33 (Canterbury Registry).

This area was previously declared as (b) (i) in Notice No. 1092.

*This notice should be read together with Notice No. 1092 dated 4 April 1975.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1488 Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:

(i) An area of 6 acres 3 roods 16 perches or thereabouts, situated west of and adjoining Marshland Road, Christchurch, in Block VII of the Christchurch Survey District, being Lot 8 on plan deposited in the Lands Registry Office as No. 875, and comprising parts of Rural Sections 7670 and 7670X, C.T. 285/14 (Canterbury Registry).

(ii) An area of 18 acres and 27 perches or thereabouts, situated south of and adjoining Hawkins Road, Christchurch, in Block VII of the Christchurch Survey District, being part of Rural Section 7670, and comprising Lots 2 and 3 and parts of Lots 5, 6 and 7 on plan, deposited in the Lands Registry Office as No. 875, C.T. 274/13 (Canterbury Registry).

These two areas were previously declared as (b) (i) and (ii) in Notice No. 1086.

*This notice should be read together with Notice No. 1086 dated 26 March 1975.
