Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Gisborne City Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for esplanade purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Gisborne in trust for that purpose.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for service lane purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waitemata City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

The Traffic (Buller County) Notice No. 2, 1976

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Buller County) Notice No. 2, 1976.

2. The area, specified in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The Transport (Buller County) Notice 1967, dated the 20th day of November 1967†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads and an area, situated within Buller County at Carters Beach, is hereby revoked.

Situated within Buller County at Carters Beach:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-western side of Tasman Street with the north-western side of Cape Foulwind Road, thence north-easterly generally along that north-western side of Cape Foulwind Road across Tasman Street, Shaddick Avenue, and Golf Links Road to the north-eastern side of Golf Links Road, thence north-westerly generally along that side of Golf Links Road, across Shaddick Avenue, to the south-eastern side of Marine Parade, thence north-easterly generally along that side of Marine Parade to a point 40 metres measured north-easterly generally along Marine Parade from Golf Links Road, thence by a right line across Marine Parade at right angles to its south-eastern side to its north-western side and along the prolongation of that line to the coast of the Tasman Sea, thence south-westerly generally along that coast to a point north of the south-western end of Marine Parade, thence in a southern direction by a right line to the south-western end of Marine Parade, thence by a right line to the commencing point.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Buller County) Notice No. 4, 1976.

2. The roads, specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The Traffic (Buller County) Notice 1958, dated the 27th day of January 1958†, under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, and The Traffic (Buller County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 27th day of October 1971‡, under regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relate to roads situated within Buller County, are hereby revoked.
