NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD—TIROMOANA
CRESCENT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Taranaki County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to take for road the land, described in the Schedule hereto,
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land,
so required to be taken, is deposited in the office of the
Taranaki County Council, Robe Street, New Plymouth, and
is there open for inspection, that all persons directly affected
by the taking of the said land should, if they have any
objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objec-
tion to the amount or payment of compensation, make a
written objection and send it within 40 days after the first
publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Plan-
ing Appeal Board, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington;
and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this
notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Hastings City
Council desires to change the purpose for which the land,
described in the Schedule hereto (which land was acquired
and is now held for the purpose described in 2 below)
to the purpose described in 3 below.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT—CITY OF HASTINGS

Description of Land: Parts of Lot 126 and 127 of Block
No. 9, on Deposited Plan No. 362, comprising 5594 square
metres, situate in Sylvan Road in the City of Hastings,
being part of the Heretaunga Block. -
The land is presently held for a transit housing centre.

The council desires to hold this piece of land for re-
creation reserve.
Any persons affected by this proposed change of purpose
may object in writing to the Hastings City Council.
Written objections should be lodged with the Town Clerk
within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, namely,
the 17th day of June 1976.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council
intends, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956, to
execute a certain work, namely, a road and for the purpose
of such work the land, described in the Schedule hereto, is
required to be taken, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928;
and notice is further given that a plan showing the said
land is deposited at the office of the council, situated at
Springs Flat, Kamo, and may there be inspected without
fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons
affected by the said work or by the taking of the said land
and who have an objection thereto, not being an objection
as to the amount of payment or compensation, must state
their objections in writing and send the same to the Secretary,
Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12244,
Wellington North, so as to reach him not later than
23 July 1976, being 40 days after the first publication of
this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing
of the same will be held, unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of such hearing.

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter
of McKECHNIE BROTHERS (N.Z.) LTD, a duly incor-
porated company having its registered office at New Ply-
mouth:
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand, dated the 27th day of April 1976,
confirming a special resolution passed by the above-named
company, on the 26th day of March 1976, entitling the
company to reduce its capital by distribution of the sum
of $500,000, standing to the credit of the share premium
account in the books of account of the company, as at
the 31st day of July 1975, to the holder, from time to
time, of the ordinary shares in the capital of the com-
pany, and, the minute approved by the Court in respect
of the share premium account of the company, was registered
by the Registrar of Companies on the 19th day of May
1976. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
The sum of $500,000 standing to the credit of the share
premium account of McKechnie Brothers (N.Z.) Ltd. at
the date hereof was by virtue of a special resolution of
the company passed on the 26th day of March 1976, duly
confirmed by an order of the Supreme Court, authorised
to be distributed to the holders from time to time of the
ordinary shares of the capital of the company upon the
terms set forth in the said resolution.
