  1. (a) Headworks, consisting of an intake on the Maruia River, giving a static head of approximately 22 ft.
    (b) A race leading to the powerhouse hereinafter referred to.
    (c) Powerhouse, with water turbine and all necessary equipment for generating electricity, having a maximum capacity of 150 kilovolt amperes.
    (d) Tailrace to the Maruia River.

  2. The water shall be taken from:
    (a) The tributary of the Riwaka River at a point in Section 3, Block I, Motueka Survey District.

(b) The Brooklyn River at a point between Sections 30 and 31, Block II, Motueka Survey District.
(c) The Six Mile Creek at a point in Section 7, Block IX, Tutaki Survey District.
(d) The Maruia River at a point in Section 6, Block VIII, Maruia Survey District.

All as indicated on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 652, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the Ngatitoro subtribe, such burial ground to be known as the Utatewhanga Wahitapu.

National Roads Board—Amending Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Pursuant to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the National Roads Board hereby amends the notice, dated 29 April 1976, and published in Gazette, No. 48, p. 987, declaring that part of No. 5 State Highway, from the Rotorua County boundary to 200 metres west of Tarukenga Road, to be a limited access road, by deleting the reference to "western boundary" and substituting therefor the reference "eastern boundary".
