Declaring an Area in the Rotorua Acclimatisation District to
be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I Sir
Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Internal
Affairs and the Minister of Lands (being the Minister charged
with the administration of the Department of State having
control of the land of the Crown affected by this Proclamation)
hereby proclaim as follows:

1. (i) This Proclamation may be cited as the Ohiwa Harbour
   Sandspit Wildlife Refuge Declaration.
   (ii) This Proclamation shall come into force on the day
   after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
2. The area described in the Schedule to this Proclamation
   is hereby declared to be a Wildlife Refuge for the purposes
   of section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WHAKATANE COUNTY
Allotment 644, Waimana Parish, situated in Block VII,
Whakatane Survey District: area, 24.5200 hectares, more or
less (S.O. Plan 47936).
As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. Wil. 34/14/11,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General and issued under the seal of New Zealand,
this 30th day of April 1976.

Land Taken for Street Purposes in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis
Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for street purposes and shall vest in the
Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington,
as from the date hereinafter mentioned, and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day
of May 1976.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 7.8 perches, situated in the
City of Wellington, being part Sections 202 and 203, Town of
Wellington, and being also part of Lot 1 on plan A/181. All
certificate of title, Volume 890, folio 15, Wellington Land
Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 19th day of May 1976.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis
Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land, described in the Schedule
hereto, is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Chair-
man, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waiapu
as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 27th day of May 1976.
