Bylaw Regulating Heavy Traffic Loadings on the Waiau River Bridge on No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962 and the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board makes the following bylaw.
BYLAW

This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board Bylaw 1976, No. 3.

This bylaw shall come into force on the day after first publication of its passing.

In this bylaw the term “heavy motor vehicle” shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974.

No person shall drive or take or operate or permit to be driven or taken or operated on or over the bridge, described in the Schedule hereto, any heavy motor vehicle having any two axles spaced at a distance of 1.8 metres or less, if the combined load carried by such axles exceeds 7,600 kilogrammes.

No person shall drive or take or operate or permit to be driven or taken or operated on or over the bridge described in the schedule hereto any heavy motor vehicle having any oscillating axle or axles if the load carried by any such axle exceeds 6,700 kilogrammes.

Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $200.
SCHEDULE
The Waiau River Bridge on No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) 1.73 kilometres south of the road to the Parnassus Post Office.
This bylaw was made by resolution, duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 21st day of April 1976.

Licensing Blake Olliver Harper and Louise Mae Cameron to Occupy a Site for a Jetty at Herald Island
PURSUANT to section 162 and 265A of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Blake Olliver Harper and Louise Mae Cameron (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Waitemata Harbour at Herald Island, as shown on plan marked M.D. 13664 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of January 1976.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be four dollars ($4) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
