The Traffic (Masterton Borough and Masterton County) Notice
No. 1, 1976

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Masterton Borough and Masterton County) Notice No. 1, 1976.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The Traffic (Masterton Borough) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 10th day of April 1975†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Masterton Borough is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Masterton Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 320 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from South Belt Road to the south-western boundary of Masterton Borough.

Andrews Street: from a point 100 metres measured south-westerly along the said street from Colombo Road to Millard Avenue.

Chamberlain Street: from the south-western boundary of Masterton Borough to Upper Plain Road.

Gordon Street: from the northern boundary of Masterton Borough to a point 120 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said street from Kitchener Street.

Judds Road.

Kibblewhite Road: from the north-eastern boundary of Masterton Borough to Upper Plain Road.

Manaia-Gladstone Road.

Millard Avenue: from a point 100 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said avenue from South Road to Andrews Street.

Ngaumutawa Road: from a point 320 metres north-easterly generally along the said road from Renall Street to Akura Road.

Railway Road: from the western boundary at Masterton Borough to Cornwall Street.

Solway Crescent.

South Road: from South Belt Road to the southern end of South Road.

South Belt Road.

Upper Manaia Road.

Upper Plain Road: from a point 240 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Railway Road to the north-western boundary of Masterton Borough.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Masterton Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 320 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from South Belt Road to the south-western boundary of Masterton Borough.

Judds Road: from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 400 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the said State highway.

Ngaumutawa Road: from a point 320 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Renall Street to a point 800 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Renall Street.

Solway Crescent.

South Belt Road.

Upper Plain Road: from a point 20 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Kibblewhite Street to a point 240 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Railway Road.

SITUATED within Masterton Borough and Masterton County:

Upper Manaia Road: from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to Railway Road.

The Traffic (Alexandra Borough and Vincent County) Notice
No. 1, 1976

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Alexandra Borough and Vincent County) Notice No. 1, 1976.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton): from the north-western boundary of Alexandra Borough to Gregg Street and from the southern boundary of Alexandra Borough to the southern end of the bridge over the Clutha River.

No. 85 State Highway (Palmerston-Alexandra): from the eastern boundary of Alexandra Borough to a point 220 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Samson Street.

Dunstan Road: from the northern boundary of Alexandra Borough to a point 840 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Chicago Street.

Earnscleugh Road.

Graveyard Gully Road.

Little Valley Road.

Tucker Hill Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Alexandra Borough:

No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton): from Gregg Street to a point 300 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from Gregg Street.

No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) from the southern boundary of Alexandra Borough to southern end of the bridge over the Clutha River.

Earnscleugh Road: from No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) to a point 320 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Aranui Road.
