  1. All that area of water at Iveagh Bay, situated on the eastern side of Lake Brunner, Block IX, Te Kinga Survy District, bounded within lines as follows:

(a) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 148° distant 115 m from the eastern side of the entrance to Cashmere Bay; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 230° for a distance of 330 m.

(b) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 163° distant 270 m from the eastern side of the entrance to Cashmere Bay; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 225° for a distance of 330 m, as shown on plan M.D. 15812.

  1. All that area of water at the northern end of Lake Brunner near the source of the Arnold River, Block VIII, Hohonu Survey District, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 133 m apart, extending in a 117° true direction 200 m from the edge of the water, the northern boundary commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 236° distant 254 m from the eastern side of the outlet of the lake at the Arnold River, as shown on plan M.D. 15713.

SECOND SCHEDULE

The access lanes shall be marked as follows:

  1. Two 2.5 m transit posts with a distance of not less than 3 m or more than 6 m between with 300 mm bright orange and black bands shall be erected on land in line with each side of each access lane, the first post being sited on the margin of the lake at normal lake level.

  2. On each side of the transit posts sited on the lake margin at normal lake level there shall be fastened, in line with the sides of the access lanes, a notice board measuring not less than 800 mm × 600 mm painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:

Licensing Michael Gerard Pooley to Occupy a Site for a Boat Mooring at Motunau River

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Michael Gerard Pooley (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Motunau River, as shown on plan marked M.D. (S) 62, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Christchurch, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat mooring as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licencee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of these regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 1 year from the 1st day of November 1976.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be fifteen dollars ($15) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles (other than Heavy Goods-Service Vehicles) in Terms of Traffic Regulations

PURSUANT to regulation 49 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives approval for motor vehicles other than heavy motor vehicles being goods-service vehicles, for the purpose of regulation 41 (1) and (2) of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Tail lamp assemblies incorporating rear red reflectors manufactured by Hella New Zealand Ltd., the lens being marked “Hella, Made in New Zealand” and containing the marks “RD Australia 69130” and “RD New Zealand 14500”.

Old People’s Homes Regulations 1965

PURSUANT to regulation 13 of the Old People’s Homes Regulations 1965, the licence to keep a home at 87 Freyberg Street, Wellington, issued to Mrs Sandra Peters on the 1st day of April 1975, is hereby revoked.
