and at the district offices of the Department of Maori Affairs at

Notice Amending the Pahiatua Branding Registration District (No. 1609 Ag. 6/8/2[2])
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 70 of the Animals Act 1967, and to a delegation from the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries, under section 10 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the said section 70 (2) the Director, Animal Health Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, hereby revokes the description of the Pahiatua Branding District as set out in the Gazette notice No. 8180* and substitutes therefore the description set out in the schedule hereto.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Northland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee on 8 December 1976 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further, authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:
(a) On every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 in the morning and the hour of closing 11 in the evening.
(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 in the morning and the hour of closing shall be 12.30 in the morning of New Year’s Day.
(c) On every other day (not being a day when the licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 in the morning and the hour of closing shall be 10 in the evening.
