Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the owners.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land, situated in Block XV, Tokomaru Survey District, and described as follows:

Area

1011.7 Part Tauwharparae 1A2 Block as created by order vesting the property of a body corporate in the beneficiaries, made by the Maori Land Court on 5 May 1916, and more particularly described in M.L. Plan 3591 and named 'Urupa'.

Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice, Whangarei, 1976, No. 46.

  2. The notice, referred to in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land, described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Redefining Purposes of Maori Reservation

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the purposes for which the Maori reservation was in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, created by notice in New Zealand Gazette, 25 July 1974, No. 72, page 1539, are hereby redefined as a marae, papakai nga, and burial ground known as Ringati, for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Tohinga Tribe.

National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 58, Haywards to Pauatahanui section, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 to 4 of plan M.O.W. 13192 and accompanying schedule held at the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Trentham, and there available for public inspection; it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution, dated 17 November 1976, and pursuant to subsection (5) of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution of 13 March 1967*, made pursuant to the said section 4, insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration of the said State highway for its full width commencing at the northern boundary of part Section 8, Pauatahanui Agricultural Reserve,
