Licensing Kevin John Taylor to Occupy a Site for a Boat Mooring at Motunau River

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit

Kevin John Taylor

(hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Motunau River, as shown on plan marked M.D. (S) 62 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Christchurch, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat mooring as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 1 year from the 1st day of November 1976.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be fifteen dollars ($15) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing Desmond John Skene to Occupy a Site for a Boat Mooring at Motunau River

Setting Aside Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a scenic reserve, and as a place of historical significance, and of spiritual and emotional association with the Maori people of the district generally, and for the common use and benefit of the people of New Zealand.
