ary of that Lot 1, the southern end of Hill Street, the

boundary of Allotment 24, Section 20, Village of Onehunga
to its intersection with the said line of mean high water;
thence southerly, westerly, and northerly generally along the
said line of mean high water to and north-westerly along
the south-western side of Beachcroft Avenue, to and along
that line of mean high water to the southernmost corner
of Lot 11, D.P. 11417; thence north-westerly along that line
of mean high water as shown on S.O. Plan 40335 to the
western side of Frederick Street in Block VIII, Titirangi
Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the
generally north-western side of Frederick Street, to the west-
ern side of Queenstown Road; thence northerly generally along
that western side of Queenstown Road to its intersection with
the production westerly of the northern side of Beachcroft
Avenue (being the southern boundary of that part Allot-
ment 4, Section 14, Suburbs of Auckland, as shown on
D.P. 820); thence easterly along that production to and
northerly along the eastern side of the said Queenstown
Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 44, D.P. 59166
(now public street); thence easterly along the southern side
of Trafalgar Street to its junction with the western side
of Pleasant Street; thence northerly along a right line across
Trafalgar Street to and along the western boundary of Lot
1, D.P. 31486, and continuing along the eastern boundaries
of Lot 1, D.P. 76768, that part of Allotment 3, Section 13,
Suburbs of Auckland, as shown on D.P. 26614, the eastern
boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 33064; Lot 1, D.P. 54403, to the
southern side of Mount Albert Road; thence easterly along
the southern side of Mount Albert Road and that side
produced to a point in line with the south-eastern side of
Campbell Road; thence northerly along a right line to the
intersection of the productions of the eastern side of Manu-
kau Road and the north-western side of Campbell Road;
thence northerly along the aforementioned production of the
eastern side of Manukau Road to and along the eastern
side of Manukau Road, to the point of commencement.

Boundaries of the Thames-Coromandel District Defined

PURSUANT to section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary
for Local Government hereby defines, as set out in the
Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the Thames-Coromandel

District which was constituted by Order in Council made on
22 September 1975, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 79, 25 September 1975, page 2128.

SCHEDULE
THAMES COROMANDEL DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District con-
taining 2212 square kilometres, more or less, commencing
at the intersection in Block VII, Thames Survey District, of
the mean high-water mark of the Firth of Thames with
a right line bearing due west from a peg bearing $27 \circ 15'$,
3.00 metres from I.T. IX, S.O. 43487 and proceeding due
westerly along the aforesaid right line to a point 669794.99
metres north and 368561.48 metres east of the False Origin
of Mount Eden Meridional Circuit; thence north-westerly
along a right line to a point 674885.39 metres north and
365898.29 metres east of the said false origin; thence due
easterly along a right line to the aforesaid mean high-water
mark; thence generally northerly, generally south-easterly and
generally southerly along the said mean high-water mark
to the middle of the mouth of the Otahu River in Block
XVI, Tairua Survey District; thence generally south-westerly
up the middle of that river to its source in Block III, Ohine-
muri Survey District; thence westerly along a right line
to the source of the Waipaheke Stream in Block II, Ohine-
muri Survey District; thence generally westerly down the
middle of that stream to its confluence with the Waihou
River in Block VIII, Waihou Survey District; thence generally
northerly down the middle of that river to its mouth; thence
generally northerly to and along the mean high-water mark
to the point of commencement; including the islands of
Wekarua, Rangipukea, Whanganui, Motutapere, Waimate,
Motukopake, Motuoruhi (Goat), Ngamotukaraka (Three
Kings), Motukaramarama (Bush), Motuwi (Double), Motu-
kakaua (Happy Jack), Channel, Square Top, Cuvier, Great
Mercury, Green, Korapuki, Middle, Stanley (Atiu), Double
(Moturehu), Red Mercury (Whakau), Whale, Ohinauiti,
Ohinau, Motukoruenga, Motukorangia, Mahungarape, Motu-
corure, Motueka, Mahurangi, Castle, The Aldermen, Shoe,
Slipper (Whakahau), Penguin, Rabbit, Hauturu, Whenuakura,
Rawengaiti, and all other islands adjacent thereto and to the
area herein described.
