greyhound authorities in any country outside New
Zealand which have reciprocal agreements in matters
of racing or trotting or greyhound racing with the
New Zealand Racing Conference or the New Zealand
Trotting Conference or the New Zealand Greyhound
Racing Association (Inc.).
(b) Bookmakers.
(c) Persons convicted of theft, burglary, receiving stolen
goods, robbery, unlawful taking or conversion of a
motorcar or other vehicle, false pretences, forgery,
uttering, possession of counterfeit coin, or assault.
(d) Persons convicted of any offence under the Gaming
Act 1908 or of any of the following offences under
the Crimes Act 1961: murder, attempted murder,
manslaughter (not based on negligence), sections 188-
204 (which relate to assaults and injuries to the
person), sections 294-297 (which relate to arson or
attempt thereat), crimes involving dishonesty or
conspiracy to commit a crime, indecent acts, sexual
offences, and the reference to the foregoing Acts
shall be deemed to apply to any subsequent Act
consolidating or in substitution thereof.
(e) Persons convicted of an offence against any of the
paragraphs of subsection (1) of section 5 of the
Narcotics Act 1965.
(f) Persons convicted in countries outside New Zealand
of offences corresponding to those mentioned in para-
graph (d) or paragraph (e).
Provided always that a committee established by the New
Zealand Greyhound Racing Association (Inc.) upon being
satisfied as to the character and otherwise that any person
who, by reason of any conviction, comes within the scope
of these rules should have relief from the effect thereof,
may grant exemption to any such person.
4. The rules previously made by the New Zealand Grey-
hound Racing Association (Inc.), under section 101 of the
Racing Act 1971, and which were published in the New
Zealand Gazette, No. 101, of 13 November 1975, on page
2543, shall be deemed to have been revoked at midnight
on the day on which these rules are published in the said
New Zealand Gazette, and shall thereafter have effect for
the purpose only of determining the eligibility under the
said Rules of Racing of Greyhounds which started in races
under the said Rules of Greyhound Racing at any time
before midnight on the day on which these rules are published
in the said New Zealand Gazette. In every other respect
such revoked rules shall thereafter have no effect.

port hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Matamata Coun-
ty), Notice No. 1, 1976. - The roads, specified in the Schedule hereto, are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes
of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. - The Traffic (Matamata County) Notice No. 1, 1975,
dated the 7th day of May 1975†, under section 52 of the
Transport Act 1962, which relates to roads situated within
Matamata County at Waharoa, is hereby revoked.

- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tokoroa Borough)

hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed
by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. - The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are
hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas
for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations
1956*. - The Traffic (Tokoroa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1975,
dated the 2nd day of May 1975†, under section 52 of the
Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regula-
tions 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Tokoroa
Borough is hereby revoked.
