Adding Land in the North Auckland Land District to a
Water Area (Ototoa Farm Settlement) for the Purposes
of Section 50 of the Land Act 1948

Pursuant to subsection (6) of Section 50 of the Land Act
1948, the Land Settlement Board hereby declares the land,
described in the Schedule hereto, to be added to the land
to which water is supplied, as defined in New Zealand Gazette,
No. 64, of 12 October 1950, page 1849 (Ototoa Farm Settlement), and which is deemed to be a water area for the
purposes of the said section.

Lot 1, D.P. 26061, being part Section 1, Block XI, Okaka
Survey District: area, 113.6104 hectares, more or less. All

Land

hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as State
forest land.

Designation of Hastings Community Arts Council

Pursuant to section 32 (i) of the Queen Elizabeth the Second
Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, on the recommendation of the Central Regional Arts Council, and on
application of the Hastings Community Arts Council, the
Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand
hereby designates the Hastings Community Arts Council to
be the community arts council for the following duly defined
area:

The Hawke's Bay County, south of the Ngaruroro River,
and including the city of Hastings and the borough of
Havelock North.

This notice revokes the previous notice headed "Designation
of Hastings Community Arts Council" which appeared

in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 13, of 5 February 1976,
on page 261.

Inquiry Concerning Protection for New Zealand Industry
Producing Certain Woven Polyester and Warp Knitted
Curtain and Dress Net Fabrics Ex Tariff Headings 51.04,
56.07 and 60.01—Industries Development Commission
Report No. 1976/3

At the request of the Minister of Trade and Industry, the
Commission held a public hearing on 29 June-1 July 1976
concerning protection for New Zealand industry producing
certain woven polyester and warp knitted curtain and dress
net fabrics ex Tariff headings 51.04, 56.07 and 60.01.

The Commission has now completed its report which was
forwarded to the Minister on 15 October 1976. A decision
concerning the release of the report will be made by the
Minister in due course.
