A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis
Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby: (a)
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river con-
trol purposes and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment
Board as from the 28th day of October 1976; and (b)
further declare the land described in the said Schedule to be
Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 17.6 perches (445 square
metres) situated in Block XVI, Waipukurau Survey District,
being part Old River Bed; as shown on plan S.O. 6099, lodged
in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, and thereon
coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand
this 10th day of October 1976.

Pursuant to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the course of the
Kaikorai stream shall be altered or diverted within the areas
of land described in the Schedule hereto.
