Environmental Impact Report Notified—PVC Resin Plant, Marsden Point, Whangarei

The Commission for the Environment gives notice that it has received an environmental impact report on the proposal to build a PVC resin plant at Marsden Point near Whangarei. Representations in writing on the environmental aspects of the project, as it is explained in the report, will be received at the office of the Commission, P.O. Box 12-042, Wellington North, until Friday, 5 March 1976.

Copies of the report may be purchased from Chemby Industries, P.O. Box 5641, Auckland, at a cost of $5 each. Copies may be seen at the public libraries at Whangarei,

Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin, or at the libraries of the seven university institutions.

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Maui Pipeline Project—Ngaruawahia to Huntly Section (Hakarimata Range Section)

The Commission for the Environment gives notice that it has received an environmental impact report on the proposal to construct a gas pipeline from Ngaruawahia to Huntly. Representations in writing on the environmental aspects of the project, as it is explained in the report, will be received at the office of the Commission, P.O. Box 12-042, Wellington North, until 27 February 1976.

Copies of the report may be obtained from The Maui Pipeline Project, Ministry of Works and Development, P.O. Box 12-184, Wellington North. Copies may be seen at the public libraries at Hamilton, Ngaruawahia, Huntly, and Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin or at the libraries of the seven university institutions.
