Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Whangarei County Council

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying That the Land Shall Vest in the Tauranga City Council in Fee Simple

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for service lane purposes described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the land shall vest in the Tauranga City Council in fee simple.

The Traffic (Rotorua City and Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1976

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rotorua City and Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1976.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

5. The Traffic (Rotorua City and Rotorua County) Notice No. 2, 1972, dated the 7th day of December 1972† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Rotorua City and Rotorua County is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Rotorua City and Rotorua County:

Clayton Road: from Mountain Road to Pukehangi Road.
Pukehangi Road: from Utahina Road to 200 metres measured north-westerly generally along Pukehangi Road from Malfroy Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Rotorua City:

No. 5 State Highway (Tirau-Napier via Rotorua and Taupo): from the southern boundary of Rotorua City to a point 460 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Old Taupo Road.

No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti - Whakatane via Atiamuri): from the eastern boundary of Rotorua City to a point 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said highway from Ti Street.

Pukehangi Road: from a point 200 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Malfroy Road to Clayton Road.
