Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 16th day of October 1975.

Declaring Land Taken for Waterworks in the City of Waitemata

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Waitemata from and after the 16th day of October 1975.

Appointment of the Auckland Outdoor Education Association (Incorporated) to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Auckland Outdoor Education Association (Incorporated), to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for recreation purposes.

Amalgamation of Scenic Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Te Ara Pokapu Scenic Reserve, described in the First Schedule hereto, shall be amalgamated with the Ballance Gorge Scenic Reserve, described in the Second Schedule, and shall be henceforth known as the Manawatu Gorge Scenic Reserve.

Wellington Land District—Pahiatua County

Section 4, Block I, Mangahao Survey District: area, 28.7326 hectares, more or less (S.O. Plan 13587).

SECOND SCHEDULE

Reservation of Foreshore

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the foreshore described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for the preservation of flora and fauna and further, adds the said reserve to the adjoining reserve set apart by New Zealand Gazette, 1961, at p. 1781.

SCHEDULE

Southland Land District

All that area in the Southland Land District, being the foreshore of that group of islands known as the Snares, situated in the South Pacific Ocean, in approximate latitude 48° 2′ South and longitude 166° 33′ East.
