The short service commission of Flight Lieutenant R. F.
White is extended until 14 May 1983, to be followed by
4 years on the Reserve of Air Force Officers.
Transfers to Reserve
Squadron Leader Denis John McMahon is transferred to
the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 20 August 1978,
with effect from 3 October 1974.
Squadron Leader Raymond Sidney Wilson is transferred
to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 29 August 1978,
with effect from 22 October 1974.
Squadron Leader Noel William Beale is transferred to
the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 18 January 1979,
with effect from 19 February 1975.
Flight Lieutenant Michael Edmund Murray is transferred

Flight Lieutenant E. J. Leadley is transferred from the
Active Reserve to the General Reserve for a period of
2 years with effect from 30 July 1975.
Flight Lieutenant G. J. F. Hunt, M.A.(HONS.), DIP.TCHG.,
M.N.Z.Psp., is transferred from the General Reserve to the
Active Reserve until 29 March 1979 with effect from 20
April 1975.
Flight Lieutenant B. A. Lockie is transferred from the
General Reserve to the Active Reserve until 6 October
1978, with effect from 15 August 1975.
Flight Lieutenant G. W. Hutchinson is transferred from
the Active Reserve to the General Reserve until 20 July

Retirement
Flight Lieutenant Garry Maurice Harry Wright is retired
with effect from 2 July 1975.

and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.
ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY
Instructor Commander D. F. W. Hall: the notice published
in the Gazette, 9 January 1975, No. 1, p. 2, is cancelled
and the following substituted:
"Instructor Commander Douglas Forester Wilson Hall,
B.SC., is placed on the Retired List with effect from 4 January
1975."
Commander Peter Norman Wright, D.S.C., is placed on
the Retired List with effect from 19 July 1975.
The appointment of Lieutenant Commander H. C. G.
Richards is extended to 19 February 1976.
Lieutenant T. W. Appleby to be Lieutenant Commander
with seniority and effect from 17 September 1975.
Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant Commander) J. C. Shackell

Lieutenant (on prob.) (Special Duties List) with seniority
and effect from 5 September 1975, on appointment to the
RNZN for a period terminating on 15 March 1986.
