Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice (Hamilton) 1975, No. 12.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Notice of Acquisition of Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes subject to Part IV of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.

PAPA AROHA SCENIC RESERVE

Papa Aroha 1D1A1 Block, situated in Block 1A, Coromandel Survey District: area, 1.7148 hectares, more or less.

Revoking Declaration of State Highways and Declaring Public Highways to be State Highways

Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the notice dated 18 July 1963* declaring public highways to be State highways is hereby revoked in so far as it affects the section of State highway described in the First Schedule hereto; and that the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be a State highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act.

FIRST SCHEDULE

No. 4 State Highway:

All that portion in the County of Taumarunui commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua Part 77E 3A2, Block XII, Tangitu Survey District and Ohura Road, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction to Ongarue Road thence in a southerly direction and terminating on the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua Part 77E 3A1 Block XII, Tangitu Survey District, and Ohura Road as shown more particularly on plan M.O.W. 36679 held in the office of the Ministry of Works and Development, Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

No. 4 State Highway:

All that public highway in the County of Taumarunui commencing at its northern junction with State Highway 4 (Ohura Road), and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to its southern junction with State Highway 4 (Ohura Road), as shown more particularly on plan M.O.W. 36679 held in the office of the Ministry of Works and Development, Wellington.

National Roads Board-Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Pursuant to subsection (5) of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, the National Roads Board hereby revokes its resolution of 9 November 1971*, pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, declaring that part of No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa to Waihi via Coromandel) from its junction with No. 2 State Highway to the Thames Borough Boundary, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 16 inclusive, of plans M.O.W. 17294 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer Ministry of Works, Paeroa, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road in so far as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration of the Pipiroa to Thames section of No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa to Waihi via Coromandel) for a width of 20 metres and for a length of 12.2 metres, measured in a southerly direction from the point of junction of the north boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 13112 (C.T. 10D/307) with the road reserve.

Licensing John Percy Johanson to Occupy a Site for a Loading Wharf in the Mahurangi River at Warkworth

Pursuant to sections 162 and 265A of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit John Percy Johanson (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Mahurangi River at Warkworth, as shown on plan marked M.D. (N) 79 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a loading wharf as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1975.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
