Declaring Land Taken, Subject to a Leasehold Estate, for
Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works and Development hereby (a) declares that, a sufficient
agreement to that effect having been entered into, the
land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject
to lease S. 477149, South Auckland Land Registry, for soil
conservation and river control purposes from and after
the 9th day of October 1975; and (b) further declares
the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land
for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, subject to the said
lease S. 477149 as from the 9th day of October 1975.
