Declaring Portion of Road Taken for the Thames Branch
Railway at Piako

Pursuant to section 45 of the Government Railways Act
1949 and sections 32 and 216 of the Public Works Act
1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient
agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the Thames Branch Railway on and after the 6th day of
October 1975.

Declaring Land Taken for Road in Block I, Takahue Survey
District, Mangonui County

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a
sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
road from and after the 2nd day of October 1975.

in Block I, Takahue Survey District, and being part Old Land

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and
Land Taken and Vested in Blocks IV and VI, Wyndham
Survey District, Southland County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Southland; also hereby
proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto; also hereby takes the land described in the Third
Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the
said section 29; and declares that the road first and secondly
described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and
the land described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken,
shall vest in Andrew Hunter Howe, of Glenham, farmer,
and Nellie Elizabeth Jane Howe, his wife, subject to mortgage
207952, Southland Land Registry; the road thirdly
described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall
vest in William John Winn of Wyndham, farmer, subject
to mortgage 264979, Southland Land Registry.
