PROVISIONS FOR SPECIAL PRICES
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the fore-provisions of this order, and subject to such conditions, if, as it thinks fit, the Tribunal, on application by any person, may authorise special maximum prices in respect of Californian oranges to which this order applies where circumstances exist, or for any reason extraordinary costs (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Tribunal under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of oranges, or relate generally to all Californian oranges to which this order applies sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.
DUTY IMPOSED ON RETAILERS
Every retailer who offers or exposes any Californian oranges for sale in any shop shall keep in a prominent position in close proximity to the oranges to which it relates as to be easily descriptive thereof, a ticket, placard, or label on which shall be stated in legible and prominent characters the following particulars:
The retail price per pound of the oranges. Retailers to whom clause 5 (b) or clause 6 (b) of this order applies shall state at least the price for 1lb and 2lb lots.
The word "Californian".
