Pursuant to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Thames County Council, pursuant to the said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of Otatara Pa Historic Reserve

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for recreation purposes, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waitemata City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

Declaration That the Snowdens Bush Domain be a Recreation Reserve, Change of the Purpose of the Reserve, and Declaration That it be the Snowdens Bush Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Snowdens Bush Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a reserve for recreation purposes subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes, to be known as the Snowdens Bush Scenic Reserve.

Variation of the Central Institute of Technology Order 1962

Pursuant to paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby varies the Central Institute of Technology Order 1962* (as varied by the Central Institute of Technology Notice 1973†) by adding to clause 2 of the notice the following paragraph:

"(m) In addition to the members co-opted pursuant to paragraph (1) of this clause the Board may, if and when it sees fit, co-opt:

(i) One member to hold office at the pleasure of the Board who shall be representative of the Lower Hutt City Corporation, the Upper Hutt City Corporation, the Petone Borough Council, the Eastbourne Borough Council and the Hutt County Council and;
