NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1935, to execute a certain public work, namely, the realignment of a road and for the purposes of that public work the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto are required to be stopped. And further notice is hereby given that a plan of the portions of road required to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barkes Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection, that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the stopping of the said portions of road should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or the stopping of the said portions of road, not being objections to the amount of payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Appeal Boards, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND WAS ACQUIRED

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and their respective amendments: NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to change the purpose for which the land described in the Schedule hereto was acquired (namely, for pleasure ground) to some other purpose (namely, street). And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, 5 Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for public inspection without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. And that all persons objecting to the proposal are required to lodge their objections in writing at the offices of the said Town Clerk within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice.
