The Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice No. 2, 1975
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962 the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice No. 2, 1975.
- The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice 1965, dated the 30th day of September 1965†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Marlborough County at Renwick is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Marlborough County at Renwick:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 160 metres measured south-westerly along the said highway from Inkerman Street to a point 50 metres measured southerly generally along the said highway from Havelock Street.
Alma Street: from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to Havelock Street.
Anglesea Street: from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to Boyce Street.
Clive Street: from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to Havelock Street.
Havelock Street: from Inkerman Street to a point 20 metres measured westerly generally along Havelock Street from Picton Street.
Inkerman Street: from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to Havelock Street.
Ramilles Street: from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to Havelock Street.

The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 1, 1975
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 1, 1975.
- The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
- The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 6, dated the 11th day of September 1969†, and the Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 2, dated the 12th day of June 1975‡, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relate to roads within the Whakatane County are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Whakatane County at Whakatane:
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point where the southern side of No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) crosses the eastern side of the Whakatane River; thence westerly and south-easterly generally along the eastern side of the Whakatane River to a point due west of the western end of Bridge Street Extension; thence due east to the southern side of the western end of Bridge Street Extension; thence easterly generally along the southern side of Bridge Street Extension to the western side of Arawa Road; thence southerly and south-easterly generally along the western side of Arawa Road to Te Tahi Street; thence at right angles across Arawa Road from its southern side to its northern side; thence easterly generally along the northern side of Arawa Road to the western side of No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne); thence northerly generally along the western side of the said State highway to a point 40 metres measured southerly generally along the western side of the said State highway from Goulstone Street; thence at right angles across the said State highway from its western side to its eastern side; thence northerly generally along the eastern side of the said State highway to the southern side of Mokorua Gorge Road; thence easterly generally along the southern side of Mokorua Gorge Road to a point 240 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway; thence at right angles across Mokorua Gorge Road from its southern side to its northern side; thence easterly generally along the northern side of Mokorua Gorge Road to the western side of Whakatane Kutarere Road; thence northerly generally along the western side of Whakatane Kutarere Road to Wedgewood Place; thence due east for a distance of 640 metres; thence due north to the eastern side of the Whakatane River; thence westerly and south-westerly generally along the eastern side of the Whakatane River to the commencing point.
