Present:
THE HON. DR A. M. FINLAY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act
1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby amends the Rotorua County Waters and Lake Beds
Control Order 1974 by inserting in the First Schedule the
words "and the Hamurana Stream from Hamurana Springs
to Lake Rotorua and the Waiteti Stream from the bridge
in Ngongotaha road to Lake Rotorua" after the words
"Paetaetaramoa Stream".

Exempting Land in Nelson Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir
Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule
hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
SECTIONS 6, 13, 21, 35, 38, 39, 40, 52, 72, and 92 and
Part Sections 36, 60, and 87, Town of Denniston, situated
in Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District, being all of certificates
of title, Volume 13, folio 85, Volume 13, folio 86, Volume 13,
folio 92, Volume 13, folio 93, Volume 13, folio 94, Volume
13, folio 231, Volume 13, folio 240, Volume 14, folio 61,
Volume 25, folio 173, Volume 43, folio 60, Volume 50,
folio 217, and Volume 83, folio 12: area, 5605 square metres,
more or less, as shown on a plan deposited in the Head
Office of the Mines Department at Wellington and thereon
edged red.
Reserving nevertheless unto the Crown firstly, in terms
of section 168A of the Coal Mines Act 1925, all coal existing
in its natural condition on or under the surface of the said
land and secondly, in terms of section 8 of the Mining
Act 1971, every mineral existing in its natural condition on or
under the surface of the said land.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 25th day of January 1975.

Exempting Resident Site Licence in the Nelson Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir
Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zea-
land, do hereby exempt the residence site licence described
in the Schedule hereto from the operation of Part III of
the said Act.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT-BULLER COUNTY
ALL that area of Crown land situated at Marshallvale in
Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District, as located on S.O. Plan
10575, and being residence site licence No. 12027. All certifi-
cate of title, Volume 1D, folio 356, limited as to parcels;
area, 1011 square metres, more or less.
Reserving nevertheless unto the Crown firstly, in terms of
section 168A of the Coal Mines Act 1925, all coal existing in
its natural condition on or under the surface of the said land,
and secondly, in terms of section 8 of the Mining Act 1971,
every mineral existing in its natural condition on or under
the surface of the said land.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

land, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule
hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT-GREY COUNTY
RURAL Sections 4945, 4946, 4947, 4948, 4949, 4950, 4951,
4952, 4953, 4954, 4955 and 4961 (formerly parts Crown land),
situated in Block I, Cobden Survey District: area, 701 acres
2 roods 36 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 5881).
Reserving nevertheless unto the Crown firstly, in terms of
section 168A of the Coal Mines Act 1925, all coal existing
in its natural condition on or under the surface of the said
land, and secondly, in terms of section 8 of the Mining Act
1971, every mineral existing in its natural condition on or
under the surface of the said land.

land, and secondly, in terms of section 8 of the Mining Act
