Declaring Land to be Crown Land

DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule
hereto has been vested in the Crown, hereby declare the said
land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land situated in Blocks IX and X, Waipoua
Survey District, and described as follows:

(more or less) Survey Plan ML 9895.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 30th day of January 1975.

State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 63A (1) (a) of the Forests Act 1949,
I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described
in the Schedule hereto as State forest park and shall hereby
form part of the Coromandel State Forest Park.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY-
OHINEMURI COUNTY
SECTION 10, Block VIII, Ohinemuri Survey District: area,
1 acre 2 roods 17 perches (0.6500 hectares), more or less
(S.O. Plan 44976).

As shown on plan N. 53/6 deposited in the Head Office
of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 12th day of November 1974.

Commission to Inquire Into Explosion and Fire at Seaview,
Hutt Valley

ORDER IN COUNCIL
To all to whom these presents shall come, and to:
ERIC FRANCIS ROTHWELL, of Auckland, Retired Stipendiary
Magistrate;
ROGER BRIAN KEEY, of Christchurch, Reader in Chemical
Engineering; and
DAVID LYNLEY WESTON, of Rotorua, Consulting Engineer:
Greeting:
Whereas it is deemed expedient that an inquiry should be
made into the cause of the explosion and fire which occurred
at the premises of Chemicals Manufacturing Company Limited
at Seaview, Hutt Valley, on the 26th day of September 1974
and matters incidental thereto:
Now therefore, pursuant to the Commissions of Inquiry
Act 1908, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoint you,
the said Eric Francis Rothwell, Roger Brian Keey, and
David Lynley Weston, to be a Commission to inquire into
and report upon the following matters:
(a) The cause of the explosion and fire:
(b) Suggestions for the prevention of similar explosions
and fires in the future:
(c) The necessity or expediency of any legislation for the
prevention of this type of explosion and fire:
(d) Such other matters as are brought to your notice or
initiated by you and are thought by you to be
relevant to your functions as defined in paragraphs
(a), (b), and (c) above:
