Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato
Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1185 Ag. 61422)
PURSUANT to regulation 3(1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:
(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found—
(i) An area of 6 acres and 35 perches, or there-
abouts, situated north of and adjoining Nairehau
Road, Christchurch, in Block VII of the Christchurch
Survey District, comprising part of Rural Section
1778 and being Lot 1 on plan deposited in the
Land Registry Office as No. 4541, C.T. 303/196
(Canterbury Registry).
(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the
land described in paragraph (a) above being—
(i) An area of 27 acres 3 roods 15 perches, or
thereabouts, situated north-west of and adjoining
Hills Road, Christchurch, in Block VII of the Christ-
church Survey District, being part Lot 2 on Deposited
Plan No. 2177 and part of Lot 1 on Deposited
Plan No. 6781, part of Rural Section 1118, C.T.
4B/1441 (Canterbury Registry).
Revocation: This notice replaces notice No. 1053* dated
11 March 1975.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato
Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1186 Ag. 61422)
PURSUANT to regulation 3(1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:
(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found—
(i) An area of 54 acres, or thereabouts, situated
south of and adjoining Tramway Road and north
of and adjoining the West Coast Railway at Wadding-
ton, in Blocks I and II of the Hawkins Survey
District, being Rural Section 15695, C.T. 766/38
(Canterbury Registry).
(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the
land described in paragraph (a) above being—
(1) An area of 100 acres, or thereabouts, situated
south of and adjoining Tramway Road and north
of and adjoining the West Coast Railway at Wad-
dington, in Blocks XIII and XIV of the Oxford
Survey District and Blocks I and II of the Hawkins
Survey District, being Rural Section 15539, C.T.
766/38 (Canterbury Registry).
(2) An area of 102 acres, or thereabouts, situated
north of and adjoining the West Coast Railway
at Waddington, in Block II of the Hawkins Survey
District, being Rural Sections 15482 and 15488, C.T.
766/38 (Canterbury Registry).
(3) An area of 60 acres, or thereabouts, situated
north-west of and adjoining Pinegrove Road and
north-east of and adjoining the West Coast Rail-
way at Waddington, in Block II of the Hawkins
Survey District, being Rural Section 14981, C.T.
553/61 (Canterbury Registry).
(4) An area of 49 acres 3 roods 35 perches, or
thereabouts, situated north-west of and adjoining
Jenkins Road and south of and adjoining Tramway
Road at Waddington, in Block II of the Hawkins
Survey District, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan
No. 16450, part of Rural Sections 18980 and 18981,
C.T. 567/53 (Canterbury Registry).
(5) An area of 20 acres 1 rood 28 perches, or
thereabouts, situated north-east of and adjoining
the West Coast Railway and north-west of and adjoin-
ing Pinegrove Road at Waddington, in Block II
of the Hawkins Survey District, being part of Rural
Section 14653, C.T. 94/191 (Canterbury Registry).
(6) An area of 5 acres, or thereabouts, situated
north-east of and adjoining the West Coast Railway
and adjoining Rural Sections 15695 and 15539 at
Waddington, in Blocks I and II of the Hawkins
Survey District, being R984, C.T. 766/38 (Canter-
bury Registry).
(7) All that leasehold land situated north-east of
the West Coast Railway at Waddington and adjoin-
ing Rural Sections 14653, 14981, 15482, 15488,
15695, R984, and 15539, being 3.3842 hectares in
lease 43074 as shown on plans L.O. 25126 and
L.O. 16608 lodged at the office of the New Zealand
Railways Department, Wellington.
Revocation: This notice replaces notice No. 1174* dated
27 June 1975.

Revoking Declaration of State Highway and Declaring Public
Highway to be State Highway
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953,
the National Roads Board acting with the written approval
of the Minister of Works and Development gives notice
that the notice dated 5 September 1974* declaring public
highway to be State highway is hereby revoked insofar as
it affects the section of State highway described in the First
Schedule hereto; and that the public highway described in
the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be a State
highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the
National Roads Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
No. 1 State Highway: all that portion commencing at a
point 200 metres south of Glenmark Bridge, proceeding
generally southwards crossing the main trunk railway and
the Waipara River, recrossing the said railway and terminat-
ing 1550 metres north of Purchas Road, as the same is
shown more particularly on Plan M.O.W. 36578 held at the
office of the Ministry of Works and Development, Wellington.
SECOND SCHEDULE
No. 1 State Highway: all that public highway commencing
at a point 200 metres south of Glenmark Bridge, proceeding
generally southwards, crossing the Waipara River and termin-
ating 1550 metres north of Purchas Road, as the same is
shown more particularly on Plan M.O.W. 36578 held at
the office of the Ministry of Works and Development, Welling-
ton.
