Change of the Purpose of a Reserve to Scenic Purposes and Addition of the Reserve to Punakaiki Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a site for a youth hostel and holiday camp to a reserve for scenic purposes and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Punakaiki Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Punakaiki Scenic Board.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Amuri County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 5 December 1974 and published in Gazette, 12 December 1974, No. 120, page 2946, and that notice is hereby cancelled.
