This order may be cited as the Redefinition of the Boundaries of the Ashburton Pest Destruction District Order 1975.

The boundaries of the Ashburton Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 18th day of November 1974*, are hereby redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE ASHBURTON PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Ellesmere and Ashburton Counties and Borough of Ashburton, containing 587710 hectares (1,452,275 acres), more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark of the sea in line with the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section 23552 in Block IV, Coldstream Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly to and along that boundary to its northernmost corner; thence north-westerly along a right line to a point on the north-western boundary of Rural Section 23628 in line with the middle of that portion of Hinds Rangitata Mouth Road passing through Lot 1, D.P. 5124; thence north-easterly to and along the middle of that road to its intersection with Terrace Road; thence north-westerly along the middle of Hinds Rangitata Mouth Road, Ealing Coldstream Road, Withells Road, Hinds Arundel Road, and No. 72 State Highway (Woodend-Winchester) and its production to the middle of the Rangitata River; thence north-westerly generally up the middle of that river and the Havelock River to and along the south-western side of the Havelock Glacier to a point due south of Sceptre Peak on the summit of the Main Divide in Block I, Torlesse Survey District; thence due north to that peak; thence north-easterly generally along that summit to Whitcombe Pass, Block II, Ramsay Survey District; thence southerly to and down the middle of Louper Stream to its confluence with the Rakaia River; thence south-easterly generally down the middle of that river and the main stream of that river between Great Island and Paradise, Tent, and Burnt Islands to the mean high-water mark of the sea; thence south-westerly along that mean high-water mark to the point of commencement.

Commissioner of Supreme Court Appointed
PURSUANT to section 47 of the Judicature Act 1908, the Right Honourable Sir Richard Wild, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, has this day appointed
Robert William Ingram, Esquire
of Seabreeze Arcade, Bulcock Street, Caloundra, Queensland, a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, to be a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in Queensland for the purpose of administering and taking of oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.
