Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District, Matamata County, and Vesting the Control and Management thereof in the Karapiro Lake Domain Board
PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:
(a) Authorises the application of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River power scheme) to recreation purposes, which shall be a secondary use of the said land.
(b) Specifies that Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 shall apply to the said land, and
(c) Vests the control and management of the said land in the Karapiro Lake Domain Board.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood and 25 perches situated in Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District, and being part Pukekura No. 1 Block; as shown on plan M.O.W. 28297 (S.O. 47030) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington and thereon coloured yellow.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the City of Manukau for a State Primary School and Previous Notice Withdrawn
NOTICE is hereby given that the notice of intention to take land in the City of Manukau for a State primary school dated the 27th day of August 1974 and published in Gazette, No. 89, 12 September 1974, page 1913, is hereby withdrawn; and notice is hereby further given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a State primary school the land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used for a new primary school and a kindergarten; and notice is hereby also given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Howick and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Manukau containing 3 acres 2 roods 16 perches (1.457 hectares) being part Lot 9, D.P. 17330; as shown on Plan M.O.W. 28052 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington and thereon coloured yellow. The said piece of land is situated off Sandspit Road, Manukau City.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIV, Kairanga Survey District, Kairanga County, for Buildings of the General Government
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for buildings of the General Government, such land to be used for the provision of staff housing for the officers of the Prison Service; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Linton and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land,
not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for post office purposes (microwave station) from and after the 30th day of January 1975.
