(2) While any person is acting pursuant to subclause (1)
of this clause he shall be deemed to be a full member of
the Board. The fact that any person so acts shall be sufficient
evidence of his authority to do so.

  1. Each member of the Board shall hold office for 3 years
    from the date that his appointment is notified to the Secretary
    of the Board and shall be eligible for reappointment. A
    Board member shall continue to hold office until his successor
    is appointed.

  2. If any member dies or resigns his office by writing
    under his hand addressed to the Board, or the Chairman,
    or the Secretary thereof, or is absent without leave from
    the meetings of the Board for three consecutive meetings,
    the casual vacancy so created shall be filled as soon as practicable thereafter, by the appointment of a member in the
    manner in which the vacating member was appointed, and
    the member appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office
    for the residue of the term of office of the member whom
    he replaces.

  3. The powers of the Board shall not be affected by any
    vacancy in the membership thereof.

copies of the Palmerston North Building Bylaw (1974) made
by the Palmerston North City Council on 22 July 1974,
and the Palmerston North City Council Fire Prevention Bylaw
1975 made by the Palmerston North City Council on 26 May
1975.

PURSUANT to section 10E of the Tariff and Development
Board Act 1961, and to the provisions of the Import Control
Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby
gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control
    Temporary Restriction Notice (No. 3) 1975.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on 1 July 1975.

  2. Until the expiry of this notice, pursuant to section 10E
    of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961, or its earlier

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County)
    Notice No. 1, 1975.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
    declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes
    of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
    hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas
    for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations
    1956*.

  4. The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 3, 1974, dated
    the 11th day of October 1974† under section 52 of the
    Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations
    1956*, which relates to roads situated within Paparua
    County is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Paparua County:

All the roads, except Waterloo Road (from Racecourse
Road to a point 60 metres measured easterly generally along
Waterloo Road from Carmen Road), within the area bounded
by a line commencing at the intersection of the eastern
boundary of Paparua County with the northern side of
Blenheim Road and proceeding northerly and north-westerly
generally along the boundary of Paparua County to a point
in line with the north-western side of Racecourse Road; thence
south-westerly generally along the production of that north-western side across the No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara); thence south-westerly generally along the side
