Reservation of Land and Appointment of the Minister of
Internal Affairs to Control and Manage
—
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands
hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto
as a reserve for wildlife management purposes and further,
pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, appoints
the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the
said reserve, subject to the provisions of the last mentioned
Act, and the Wildlife Act 1953, as a reserve for wildlife
management purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—WAIMATE COUNTY
RURAL Section 40457, situated in Block XVI, Waimate Survey
District, and Block IV, Waitaki Survey District: area, 36.0960
hectares, more or less (S.O. Plan 13523).

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying
the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall
be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over the lands
described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for the purposes
specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the
said lands and further, declares that the said lands may be
disposed of by the Paparua County Council at current market
value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into
the Council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and
applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation
reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards
the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—PAPARUA COUNTY
LOT 1, D.P. 26092 (formerly part Reserve 5148), situated
in Block X, Christchurch Survey District: area, 2638 square
metres, more or less. All certificate of title No. 8B/470

LOT 17, D.P. 21888, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey
District: area, 650 square metres, more or less. Reserve
for roading purposes.

Declaration That the Opaheke Domain Shall be a Recreation
Reserve and Vesting in the Franklin County Council
—
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that the Opaheke Domain described
in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the pro-
visions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953,
and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to
Part II of the said Act and further, pursuant to the said
Act vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Franklin, in trust, for recreation
purposes.

lors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kiwitea and revokes
the reservation for a roadman's cottage over the land described
in the Schedule hereto.

Change of the Purpose of Part of a Reserve

recreation purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes to be
known as the Opua Scenic Reserve.
