State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 63A(1)(a) of the Forests Act 1949,
I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described
in the Schedule hereto as State forest park and shall hereby
form part of the Coromandel State Forest Park.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY—
OHINEMURI COUNTY
SECTION 10, Block VIII, Ohinemuri Survey District: area,
1 acre 2 roods 17 perches (0.6500 hectares), more or less
(S.O. Plan 44976).
As shown on plan N. 53/6 deposited in the Head Office
of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 12th day of November 1974.

Appointment of a Member of the State Services Tribunal

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of
December 1974
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General In Council
Pursuant to section 27 of the State Services Remuneration
and Conditions of Employment Act 1969, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the
Minister of State Services, hereby appoints
Robert James Maclachlan
to be the official member of the State Services Tribunal for a
term of 3 years on and from the 11th day of December 1974.

Validating Irregularity in Conduct of Election in the County
of Waimairi

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of
January 1975
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General In Council
WHEREAS for the purpose of conducting a new election of
councillors for the Wairarapa Riding of the County of
Waimairi (hereinafter referred to as the county) pursuant
to section 77 of the Local Elections and Polls Act 1966
(hereinafter referred to as the Act), the returning officer for
the county gave public notice on the 30th day of December
1974 and the 7th day of January 1975 to the effect inter alia
that the election would be held over consecutive days, namely
the 29th, 30th, and 31st days of January 1975 and the 1st
day of February 1975;
And whereas the resolution of the Waimairi County Council
(hereinafter referred to as the council) pursuant to section
640 of the Act that the election be conducted over those
consecutive days was not made until the 16th day of January
1975:
Now therefore, pursuant to section 90 of the Act, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby validates
the giving of the said public notice on the 30th day of
December 1974 and the 7th day of January 1975 before the
Council had resolved, pursuant to section 640 of the Act, that
the election would be conducted over consecutive days.
