The Motor Launch (Ruamahanga River) Notice 1975—
Featherston County Council

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Grant
Stewart Ellis Milne of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise
of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby
give the following notice:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch
    (Ruamahanga River) Notice 1975.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its
    publication in the Gazette.
  2. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule
    hereto the area of water described in the First Schedule hereto
    shall be exempted from regulations 11 (b), 11 (c), 12 (b),
    and 12 (c) of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 for a
    period of 1 year excepting during the duck shooting season.

FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water of the Ruamahanga River extending
from the Onoke stopbank upstream to the Tuhitarata Bridge.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SUITABLE notices as may be approved by the Regional Marine
Officer at Wellington shall be erected at the limits of the
area described in the First Schedule to this notice.

Approval of Motorcycle Helmets in Terms of Traffic Regula-
tions 1956

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 49 of the Traffic
Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves
for the purpose of regulation 29 of the said regulations,
motorcycle safety helmets of the make and type described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
SAFETY helmets manufactured by Thetford Moulded Products
Limited, and marked Centurion X750 and bearing the certification
of the British Standards Institution, Standard Number
B.S. 1869.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act
1962, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby
give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 9 May
1975 made an order that the following hours be fixed for
the opening and closing of the Onetangi Hotel, Waiheke
Island, for the sale of liquor to the public:
Opening: 11 a.m., Monday to Saturday (inclusive).
Closing: 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday (inclusive).

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Maui Pipeline Project
New Plymouth - Huntly Section

THE Commission for the Environment gives notice that it
has received an environmental impact report on the proposal
to construct a gas pipeline from New Plymouth to Huntly.
Representations in writing on the environmental aspects of
the project, as it is explained in the report, will be received
at the office of the Commission, P.O. Box 12–042, Wellington
North, until Friday, 27 June 1975.
Copies of the report will be available on application at
the Maui Pipeline Project Office, P.O. Box 12–184, Wellington
North, or seen at the public libraries at New Plymouth,
Hamilton, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin
or at the libraries of the seven university institutions.

The Cream Treatment Allowances Notice 1975

PURSUANT to the Milk Act 1967, the Milk Prices Authority
hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (i) This notice may be cited as the Cream Treatment
    Allowances Notice 1975.
    (ii) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June
  2. (iii) This notice is given after consultation with the Minister
    of Agriculture and Fisheries.

  3. In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires—
    "The Act" means the Milk Act 1967:
    "Cream" has the same meaning as in the Food and Drug
    Regulations 1973:
    "Standard rates" means the standard rates of margins and
    allowances payable in respect of the treatment of
    cream specified in the Schedule hereto:
    "Treatment" means the pasteurisation and bottling of
    cream:
    "Treatment station" means any plant or premises for the
    treatment of cream operated pursuant to the Act.
  4. This notice applies to all cream sold anywhere in New
    Zealand after the coming into force of this notice.
  5. The standard rates specified in the Schedule hereto are
    hereby fixed, with effect from and including the 1st day of
    June 1975.
