Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs

Pursuant to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drug set out in the Schedule hereto.

Customs Act—Dumping Duty

Pursuant to the provisions of section 129(1) and (8) of the Customs Act 1966, as amended by section 6 of the Customs Amendment Act 1971, notice is hereby given that sales dumping duty shall be payable on the goods detailed below and that security for sales dumping duty, equivalent to 60 cents per kilogram, shall be payable in respect of:

Acquisition of Land for a Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Director-General of Lands hereby gives notice that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of Part IV of the said Act, to be known as A’Deanes Bush Scenic Reserve.

LOT 3, D.P. 2462, being part Block 283, Ruataniwha Crown Grant District, situated in Block X, Ruataniwha Survey District: area, 38.4451 hectares, more or less.

Excluding Part of Land From Maori Reservation

Whereas by notice dated 5 May 1971, published in Gazette, 13 May 1971, No. 34, p. 913, the Maori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an ancient burial ground, place of historical interest and place of scenic beauty for the common use and benefit of the beneficial owners and of the Maori peoples of New Zealand generally; and whereas it is proposed to exclude part of the said land from the said Maori reservation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 notice is hereby given as follows.

NOTICE

  1. The reservation constituted by notice dated 5 May 1971 and published in Gazette, 13 May 1971, No. 34, p. 913, relating to the land described in the First Schedule is hereby amended by excluding the area shown in the Second Schedule.
  2. The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule is hereby excluded from being part of the said Maori reservation.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land situated in Blocks III, IV, and VII, Tauhara Survey District, and described as follows:

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land situated in Block III, Tauhara Survey District, and described as follows:

Land Acquired as a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the said Act as a scenic reserve, to be known as MacDonald Scenic Reserve.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—STEWART ISLAND COUNTY
SECTION 146, Block I, Paterson Survey District: area, 38.5463 hectares, more or less, all certificate of title No. B4/1435 of the Southland Registry (S.O. Plan 2767).
