✨ Traffic Regulations

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes
of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The notices under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936 dated the 11th day of July 1947*, the 25th
day of June 1948†, the 24th day of May 1950‡, and the
9th day of June 1950§ which relate to roads situated within
Manawatu County are all hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Manawatu County at Sanson:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 260
metres measured southerly generally along the said highway
from Cemetery Road to a point 720 metres measured westerly
generally along the said highway from Cemetery Road.
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from Cemetery Road to a point 340 metres measured
easterly generally along the said highway from the said road.

Woodville via New Plymouth) to a point 200 metres measured
northerly generally along the said road from the said high-

line commencing at the point of intersection of the western

thence due west to the coast of the Tasman Ocean; thence
south generally to the northern bank of the Manawatu River;
thence east generally along the northern bank of the Manawatu
River to a point due south-west of the commencing point;
thence north by a right line to the commencing point.

Barling Street.

Koputara Road: from its western end to a point 250 metres
measured easterly generally along the said road from Barling
Street.

The Traffic (Marton Borough) Notice No. 1, 1975
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Marton Borough) Notice No. 1, 1975.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Marton Borough) Notice No. 1, 1973, dated the 19th day of April 1973† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, which relates to roads situated within Marton Borough, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Marton Borough:
Pukepapa Road: from the south-western boundary of Marton Borough to a point 340 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary.

The Traffic (Manukau City - Manurewa Ward) Notice No. 1, 1975
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City - Manurewa Ward) Notice No. 1, 1975.

All the roads in the Manurewa Ward of Manukau City, with the exception of those roads contained in the areas specified in the First Schedule hereto and those roads specified in the said First Schedule, are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

So much of the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 27th day of May 1974† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Manukau City in the Manurewa Wards is hereby revoked.

SITUATED WITHIN MANUKAU CITY IN THE MANUREWA WARD AT MANUREWA:
All that area at Manurewa bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-western side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) beneath the Orams Road overbridge; thence southerly generally along the said side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the northern side of Hill Road; thence easterly generally along the northern side of Hill Road to the eastern side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence across Hill Road at right angles from its northern side to its southern side; thence westerly generally along the southern side of Hill Road to the western side
