THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Appointment of
the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for the preservation
of flora and fauna to a reserve for wildlife management
purposes and further, appoints the Minister of Internal Affairs
to control and manage the said reserve.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND COUNTY

SECTION 11, Town of Dipton Bush, situated in Block XXV,
Taringatura Survey District: area, 2.0234 hectares, more or less
(S.O. Plan 701).

Appointment of the Ellesmere County Council to Control and
Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Ellesmere to control and manage
the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for
cemetery purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—ELLESMERE COUNTY

PART Rural Section 7966 situated in Block I, Southbridge
Survey District: area, 617 square metres, more or less. All
certificate of title, Volume 406, folio 99, of the Canterbury
Registry.

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands
hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto
as a reserve for recreation purposes.

RURAL Sections 5150 and 5292 situated in Block IV, Mahi-
napua Survey District: area, 17.1100 hectares, more or less
(S.O. Plans 5988 and 9329).

The Traffic (Coromandel County) Notice No. 1, 1975

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Coromandel
    County) Notice No. 1, 1975.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby
    declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes
    of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that
    a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time
    during the period commencing with the 20th day of December
    in each year and ending with the 10th day of February in
    the next ensuing year and the period commencing with
    the Thursday preceding Easter and ending with the Tuesday
    following Easter each year shall be subject to the maximum
    speed limit of 30 miles an hour fixed by the said section.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Coromandel County at Kuaotunu:

No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel):
from the western end of the Kuaotunu River Bridge to a
point 1240 metres measured westerly generally along the said
State highway from the western end of the said bridge.

Edgewater College Board of Governors Notice 1975

Pursuant to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the
Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Edgewater College
    Board of Governors Notice 1975.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of
    June 1975.

  2. The Board of Governors of Edgewater College shall
    be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
    Board;
    (b) Seven members elected by the parents of pupils attend-
    ing the school;
    (c) One member appointed by the Manukau City Council;
    (d) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors
    itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  3. The Pakuranga Secondary Schools Board shall cease to
    control Edgewater College and the sole control of that school
    shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by
    clause 2 of this notice.

Pakuranga College Board of Governors Notice 1975

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Pakuranga College
    Board of Governors Notice 1975.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of
    June 1975.

  2. The Board of Governors of Pakuranga College shall be
    constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
    Board;
    (b) Eight members elected by the parents of pupils attend-
    ing the school.
    (c) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors
    itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  3. The Pakuranga Secondary Schools Board shall cease to
    control Pakuranga College and the sole control of that school
    shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by
    clause 2 of this notice.

  4. The Pakuranga Secondary Schools Board of Governors
    Notice 1970* is hereby revoked.
