Land Proclaimed as Road in Kaikoura County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kaikoura.

Amending a Notice Closing and Vesting Road in Blocks II and VI, Waimata Survey District, Cook County

Pursuant to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 21st day of April 1975, published in Gazette, 23 April 1975, No. 35, at pages 920 to 921, closing and vesting road in Blocks II and VI, Waimata Survey District, Cook County, by omitting reference where it appears in two places to “mortgage 10103” and substituting “mortgage 110103” in both places.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken in Block II, Maungakaretu Survey District, Rangitikei County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second and Third Schedules hereto; and also hereby takes the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and declares that the road described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in William Donald Nelson Strachan of Taihape, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgages No. 305057 and 305586, that the road first described in the said Third Schedule, when so closed, and the land described in the said Fourth Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Rio Gifford Bell of Raketapauma, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgages No. 874854, 992281, and 992282, and that the road secondly and thirdly described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in William Ashley Strachan of Taihape, farmer, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 899105, Wellington Land Registry.
